Location & Directions

Al Hamriyah Public Beach can be found on the east side of Sharjah near the border of Umm Al Quwain, UAE. It is 45 kilometers from Sharjah city and 30 minutes from Ajman. It is adjacent to the Hamriyah Free Zone and the border with Umm Al Quwain.

How to Get There

  • For the easy commute, use the E11 highway and take the exit to Hamriyah Port Road.
  • Look for the signage that helps you to locate and catch it.
  • The buses do not have a route there, so people usually drive by car or take a taxi, but youcan  also park for free.
  • You may park your car for free.

The first Hamriyah Beach (close to the Hamriyah Free Zone) is simply reachable from Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain. In comparison to a Hamriyah Beach (smaller) in Umm Al Quwain, it is particularly larger and more equipped.

As mentioned before, the beach has both sand and a levée to keep big waves away from the beach area. The Hamriyah Free Zone is visible from the beach as well, of course. How to Get There

  • By Car: If you are moving out from Sharjah, try the E11 track and then go out of the Hamriyah Port, but follow the signs to the beach. Travel to Ajman on the way to Al Ittihad Street and head north on the E11 of Al Hazeel. Its normal time is 30-40 minutes by car. For Dubai, Way.: from E311, head to the north and fill al bak. 
  • From Ajman: Steer through Al Ittihad Street, and dog-track up E11 then come off at Hamriyah Port Road. Desperately searching for a counselor? Sometimes there is no public bus or train if you don’t drive so the simplest option is to take a taxi.
  • By Public Transport: There are no buses or trains that serve the Al Hamriyah Beach directly. The nearest buses go to some areas of Sharjah. If you want to get closer to the destination, you should get off at the Hamriyah Free Zone and take a short taxi right.

When you are in you can stroll around easily. The beach is flat and good for strollers/and trolleys/and people in wheelchairs. In addition, it is just a 5-minute walk from parking to the water.
